Han S. Jan, founder and president of CTL, established CTL in 1969. He is proud to have served his clients in the Washington metropolitan area for almost 40 years. Our first office was located in Washington, DC not far from the Walter Reed Medical Center.  CTL helped introduce video technology to government agencies, corporations and educational institutions in the Washington metropolitan region.  In April 1972, CTL had its offical grand opening sponsored by the Community Video Center of Washington, D.C.  We soon out grew our offices and relocated to larger facilities in Silver Spring, MD.  We served our client base with sales, rentals, installations, and service along with A/V consulting and design.  We offered complete turnkey video production, field production and editing systems to our professional clients. Business continued to grow and we quickly needed larger facilities to keep up with our client's needs. We moved into our current facilities in 1986 with three times the space and a separate warehouse ten times our previous capacity. We represent over 300 manufacturers consisting of prosumer, professional and broadcast gear, HD/SD Camcorders, LCD, Plasma and OLED Displays, DVD and Blu-ray Recorders & Duplicators, Non-Linear Editing Systems, Surveillance Systems and Networking Equipment.  Our trained and experienced staff is always ready to serve and answer any questions you may have.
