The Renommee is the successor to our most successful Casablanca ever, the Prestige.
We have added a special four-pack of Casablanca software products to each new Renommee. With your new Renommee you receive the standard Renommee software bundle plus Title Effects 1, QuadCam, Disk Transfer and BlueBox World ! This offer is only valid on stock on-hand and quantities are truly limited.
Remember, these Renommee units are particularly ideal if you already own a Prestige or Renommee/Plus as the HDD sleds are interchangeable!

Casablanca Renommee
In terms of rendering and processing speed, the Renommee is on a par with the Solitaire system. The Renommee is shipped with a 300 GB hard-drive in an exchangeable drive sled and with a Pioneer DVD burner (latest generation). In the Renommee, we continue the popular case design of the Prestige, which allows positioning in a 19-inch rack mount position or on your studio desk-top.
Software installation is possible from CD/DVD – due to this, the Renommee no longer requires a Smart Media drive. Of course, all required front and back connectors are still there with both analog and DV. The HD sled is compatible with the Prestige – you can use your Prestige drive with the same sled in the Renommee (see note at bottom of this page). Casablanca Renommee is shipped with the Smart Edit 6 Operating System.
In using the latest components, in comparison to the Prestige, the Renommee really takes off in terms of speed, almost five times faster than a Prestige!
This makes Renommee the ideal machine for demanding users. For HDV editing, excellent performance is elementary for comfortable, fast and fluent work.

Casablanca Upgrade/Trade-in options
Current Casablanca owners are can trade in their Casablanca editor to a new Renommee (including full transfer of software on your existing editor) - subject to availability.
Using Hard Drives from Previous Casablanca Units NOTE: Existing Kron/Kron Plus customers may use their current HDs in their new Renommee Plus after upgrading their HD with Smart Edit 5 or 6 (and require the Renommee/Plus HD Sled). Existing Prestige customers may also use their current HDs with their HD sleds in a new Renommee Plus but must also reformat their HD with Smart Edit 5 or 6.
